Dogs of Melbourne

Staffy, Cremorne. 12:04am

Graphite pencil on 100% cotton paper

The story

A quiet corner of industrial Cremorne after dark. A brick wall layered in old spray tags, weathering, and street wear. Down at the pavement, a Staffy sits alert in the light spilling from an open doorway, waiting.

The series: Dogs of Melbourne

An ongoing study of Melbourne’s inner city after dark. Each drawing pairs a local dog with a specific corner, laneway, or industrial doorway - a quiet, familiar presence in the city.

The drawing

Drawn in graphite on 100% cotton paper.
